Bohemian Rhapsody

Freddie's Bohemian Rhapsody lyrics

Released on November 1, 2018, Bohemian Rhapsody was more than eight years in the making, before going on to make movie history.

Bohemian Rhapsody proved one of the hits of the year and acknowledged Freddie Mercury as one of the planet’s greatest music superstars.

It also recognised Jim Hutton as Freddie's loving partner and confidant. This happy photograph from Jim's private archive, from the Kindle ebook Mercury and Me: The Updated Edition, even featured at the end of the movie's credits.

The film was released first in the UK, then in the USA next day, instantly bound on a stratospheric journey to the top. Everywhere.

The film went on to gross more than $700m worldwide by Christmas 2018, then slipped through the $1billion barrier in the ensuing months. Scooping a hefty clutch of Oscar and Bafta awards in the 2019 season, Bohemian Rhapsody is the highest-grossing rock biopic of all time.
